Using the site

howai.si is an independent directory of AI tools, operated by oora and curated by Carlos J. Tilly. You may use it for your own personal or business research. Please don't misuse it: no scraping at a scale that harms the site, no attempts to break or overload it, and no illegal use.

Your content

You may be able to send us things, such as tool claims, update suggestions, contact messages, and soon your own stack and profile. When you do:

• You keep ownership of what you send.
• You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, free license to store, review, edit for length or clarity, translate and display it on howai.si (and in our related posts and newsletters), for as long as it's on the site.
• You promise it's yours to share, it's truthful, and it doesn't break anyone's rights or the law.
• We review submissions by hand. Nothing you send is published until we approve it, and we can edit, decline or remove anything, at any time and without notice, for example if it's spam, misleading, promotional or offensive.
• You can ask us to remove your content whenever you like.

Accounts

When accounts launch, keep your sign-in secure and give us true information. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Accuracy of tool information

AI tools change fast. Prices, features, free plans and availability can change without notice, and we may get things wrong or be out of date. Always check the tool's own website before you decide or buy. Rankings reflect public mentions and our method, they are not a guarantee that a tool is right for you. See how we rank for details.

Affiliate links and sponsors

Some links on howai.si may be affiliate links. Affiliate links may earn us a commission if you sign up or buy, at no extra cost to you. Rankings are never sold, and affiliate or sponsor relationships never change a tool's position. Sponsors are never AI companies.

Third-party content and sites

Posts from X, YouTube videos, tool logos and names, and the tools themselves belong to their owners. We show or link to them for information, and no endorsement is implied. We don't control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise it will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, oora and Carlos J. Tilly are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss from relying on the site or from the tools, products or third-party sites you find through it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they apply only as far as your local law permits. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of St. Louis County, Missouri. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the mandatory laws of the place where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and using the site after that means you accept the update.
